(AND OTHER MICROSOFT OFFICE APPS)
Microsoft® changed to Unicode encoding in Office® 2004,
presenting problems for many TrueType fonts which
incorporate Option keys in the character set.  (Mac only)
Therefore, we no longer support or sell the
                                                original Mac version
of StaffWriter
                                                which used Option keys.  We
                                                re-designed StaffWriter
so that Mac and PC users can both use the same font.  This is a
good thing in that those
teachers who have both Mac & PC
personal computers can edit their files across platforms
by installing StaffWriter on one and their "back-up" copy
                                                on the other.

Well, that's all you really need to know about Unicode
                                                encoding,
but, if you enjoy reading
                                                details, we've included a lot
in
the file below, so be our guest and read away!
